SDMC's Fiesta Challenge Trophy is a cheap and affordable championship, where the specification of all cars are the same. This is to keep runnings costs down and attract both young and older competitors into the sport on an equal playing field - to highlight driver talent. In years past the formula was restricted solely to the Ford Fiesta, but in the face of dwindling competitior numbers it was decided to open up the class to any make or model of car, as long as it adheres to the following regulations:
